A good friend of ours daughter turned “Young, wild, and THREE”, and I knew I could make cheetah, gold, and pink cake pops to match her theme. See the supply list and steps I took, below!
supply list:
- Stover & Company Sweet Shoppe Ultra White melting wafers
- Merckens Pink melting wafers
- Gold luster dust
- Black edible decorative paint
- Lemon extract
- Cake pop sticks
- Scribe tool or toothpick
- Small bowl and decorating paint brushes

step-by-step:
cheetah pops:
1. Dip cake pop dough in melting wafer colors of your choice. Let dry.
2. In a small bowl, mix small amount of gold luster dust and lemon extract to make a gold paint.
3. Paint gold circles all over the cake pop using a small paint brush.
4. Using another paint brush and the black edible decorative paint, paint black on the outside edges. Be sure to switch up the location of the black on each circle, and don’t worry about being clean with the edges, a messier edge can actually look more natural!
